How we found them
Last night, Karys was in one of those “I don’t want a sister!” moods.
But this is how we found them when we woke up this morning.

Annual wellness checks
Eliana and Karys had their annual wellness checks this afternoon.
The downside to the whole trip was that Karys, bless her heart, needed 3 shots for kindergarten.
Do you have any idea how LOUD a little 38-pound girl can scream?
Do you have any idea how heartbreaking it is to hold her little hands while she’s staring straight into your eyes and screaming “B-a-a-a-a-a b-a-a-a-a-a” (which is Chinese for daddy)?
Ugh.

A few peaceful moments
Eliana was reading from Karys’ new testament and Karys repeated what Eliana said.
A few blissfully peaceful moments in the midst of bickering that has consumed much of our morning.

Where they don’t belong
Some stickers are boldly going where they don’t belong.

Where babies come from
I gave Eliana and Karys their bath tonight.
At one point, I walked out of the bathroom and upon my return heard Eliana say, “Karys is a hot chick.”
Karys quizzed her big sister. “A hot chick?”
“Yeah. You’re a hot chick. That means the boys think you look good and then they kiss you…on the lips…and then you’re a mommy.”
So there ya’ go. Now you know where babies come from.
Duh. And all this time I thought it was the water…

Wore out
I’d say that a day of swimming has worn them out.
