Our student of the month

Eliana surprised us today with this letter from her school.

She has been selected as “student of the month” in her class.

All “students of the month” get their own private trip to a sports facility for some play time and then a pizza party.

And during a school day to boot.

The art of sarcasm

So… today is my birthday.

Each of the kiddos made me a birthday card. And each card was very special.

But Zane’s card took the cake.

Now before you get all “awwwww…” because of the first line, I must tell you that I always refer to myself as “precious daddy”.

Yeah. Zane has learned the art of sarcasm in the 2 years he’s been home.

I love 15-year-olds.

Gotta love daylight savings time.

With the sun setting an hour later, I actually have time to get outside with the kiddos before dinner.

That makes for some happy kiddos.
