I know what we’ll be doing on Friday night
Yesterday afternoon after I picked Eliana up at mom’s, we stopped by the grocery store on the way home for a box of mac-n-cheese.
Standing in line, we did just that…stand and stand and stand while the dear old soul behind the cash register moved like molasses to check out the two people in front of us. Since we had plenty of time to kill, Eliana began perusing the rows of magazines lining the aisle.
Suddenly she gasped.
I looked down in time to see her jerk a US Weekly out of it’s stand. She pointed to a small picture in the top right corner of the cover and shrieked, “Troy Bolton!”
Troy is the heart throb in High School Musical, a Disney Channel Original Movie that premiered in January of 2006. Several months ago in a weak moment, we purchased the DVD for Eliana and she went through a phase where she must have watched it a hundred times.
In only two days, on Friday at 8:00 pm EST, Disney Channel will release the sequel to the first HSM and little girl tween hearts will be pitter-pattering all over the country.
Sigh…I know what we’ll be doing on Friday night.
