There’s only one thing for sure that will tear these two away from the tv or computer for an extended period of time.
It’s Yu-Gi-Oh.
Well… that and the fact that Netflix has decided to cop an attitude and not play on our Wii.
Stupid Netflix.
But mainly it’s Yu-Gi-Oh. And they can stare at those cards for hours.

Zane and Eliana and I got our nerd on today.
We went to see The Avengers.
You know… that little sleeper of a movie by Joss Whedon?
The one that everybody else in the country went to see LAST weekend?
We figured $200 million wasn’t enough for ol’ Joss so we helped to pad his wallet a bit more.
Us and the other, maybe, 2 dozen people that were in the theater this afternoon.
Oh… and it was awesome, by the way.

We’re gonna be late for church watching the Sunday morning buffet in our backyard.

A girl must look fashionable at all times.
Even when doing homework.

I love it when we can catch our kids just hanging out together.
No games.
No computers.
No television.
Only conversation.

Karys’ first grade class this morning presented a little play called “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”.
Karys was mother rabbit. A role which, if you know her at all, fits just perfectly.

Just ask this little fellow who didn’t do something the instant he was supposed to.

I took my delicious McDonalds medium coffee with 3 creams and 3 sugars (plus some once I brought it home) with me to the school. Knowing full well, of course, that it would aggravate Karys because she a-l-w-a-y-s wants a coffee when I get one.
So at the opportune moment when she happened to look our way, I raised my coffee in a toast.
Behold. The ‘stink eye’.

I wuv that wascally wabbit. Even when she does try to steal my coffee.
