Thanks Mystina we appreciate the prayers.  Karys is doing very well, even laughing and smiling for her big sister!  Everyone but me is now asleep.  We have a free day tomorrow so will be doing a little shopping as about 1/2 the clothes I brought are too big.

I’m so not the kind of person that cries over things… but man when you pan over kind of accidentally like… the look on Carmi’s face so reminds me of how I felt seeing the boys the first time… Tired, Excited, a little Anxious and happy.  I can’t wait to see part 2!

Incidentally… you may notice an abnormally high amount of hits on the “Ni Hao Y’all” post… it’s Sophie’s favorite!  She’s asked to see it 100 times I think!

SO HAPPY to know that you have Karys and she is doing well.  We’re all looking forward to pictures and info in the near future.  I hope you can all get some rest.  Please give Eliana a hug from us and tell her she is just going to be the best big sister ever.  Love ‘ya.

Oh, my!  How beautiful both your girls are!  Yep, I cried...so touches my heart to see these children get their forever families.
Our second daughter got very car sick - I pray Karys works through that very soon.
Thanks for taking us along!

Hi Y’all,
Karys your newly adopted grandmother Nannie-Coe understands being car sick! Wind on my face from an open windowused to help me. See if your mama can try one of these suggestions:
Whether you travel by car or plane, elevator or roller coaster, motion sickness can be aggravated by hunger, anxiety or unpleasant odors such as tobacco smoke. Staying calm and keeping your vehicle well-ventilated can help stop the world (and your stomach) from spinning.

Acupressure ideas:
For motion sickness, firmly press points P 5 and P 6, which are near your wrists, says Michael Reed Gach, Ph.D., director of the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California, and author of Acupressure’s Potent Points. To find P 5, place your right thumb on the inside of your left forearm, three finger-widths from the center of your wrist crease. Breathing deeply, apply firm pressure with your thumb for one minute, suggests Dr. Gach. Then move your thumb about half of a finger-width closer to the wrist crease to point P 6. Dr. Gach says to apply pressure for one more minute, then repeat the procedure on your right forearm.

(Some people sew a button on a piece of elastic and wear it around their arm like a bracelet with the buttone next to their skin. Don’t know if you could concoct this in China or not. Good luck!)

Love,
Nannie-Coe

Hi, I loved your travel blogs and videos.  I got the same camera after seeing your pictures.  Are these videos taken with the Power Shot camera?
