Getting to know Karys - part 2
The first time Carmi tried to give Karys a bath, she was not a happy camper. She cried big ol’ crocodile tears and whimpered while being washed.
Tonight, it was like we had a different child. When Carmi had the water ready, Karys stood at the side of the tub with her little arms stretched up and couldn’t wait to get in. Carmi even washed her hair and I didn’t hear a peep.
Another surprise is that Karys very willingly lets us brush her teeth.

Oh Wendy, you are so funny! I think that they must have brushed her teeth at the SWI, I have no other explanation. We did also let her see Eliana getting her teeth brushed. The hair got washed without a peep by using a wash cloth. She has so little hair that you don’t have to put much on her head to get it clean. 
Eliana used to cry every time she got her hair washed because she did not like water getting in her face. I used to put a wash cloth over her eyes and then the water did not go in her face. That might help.
I love the picture of Karys ‘latching on’ to Eliana. Looks like big sister kinda liked it too! Counting the days.......
