Daddy didn’t cave

Zane and I had to suck it up and go shoe shopping with the ladies this afternoon. Eliana is some more tough on shoes and desperately needed a new pair.

Zane also needed a new pair otherwise he and I would have gladly stayed behind and held down the fort.

I wish you could have seen Karys in that store. She was like a pig at slop.

She and Carmi are d-a-n-g-e-r-o-u-s together. Seriously. They feed off of each other’s energy.

Trouble was… Karys didn’t need a new pair of shoes. But that didn’t slow her down.

Everytime I turned around, she was plopped in the middle of an aisle trying on a different style or color.

If I told that child once, I told her 20 times…

Karys. you. do. not. need. a. pair. of. shoes.

So for number 21, I threw a change-up…

Karys. you. are. NOT. getting. a. new. pair. of. shoes.

Finally realizing that I was more determined, she backed into a corner and hit me with this game breaker.

But daddy didn’t cave.

No I did not cave but it was only because daddy was there and already told her “no”. If it had been just me my girl would have come home with at least one new pair of shoes…
