I love your videos!  Looks like Eliana and Karys are getting along great!

Crossing streets in Bishkek and Almaty was a pretty frightening experience as well… but we got good at it after a while… I got a pic of a “ped crossing” sign in Almaty… it showed two people RUNNING!  Says alot about the method doesn’t it? smile

Look forward to seeing more of your adventure!

There seems to be quite a bond between the sisters already!

Congratulations!! The videos are great. It’s like we are there with you. Can’t wait to meet Karys! Your family is in our prayers!

The girls are doing great!  Today Eliana has built a “tent” in our room and has introduced Karys to the fun of playing in them.

We are really enjoying your blog! We were staying at the Century Hotel exactly 2 years ago, and we enjoyed the thrill of crossing that same intersection in search of shoes as well. Thank you for letting us follow along on your trip. Best wishes on the rest of your journey!

Feel like we are right there with you but don’t think we would be as much help as Eliana is.  Things look like they are going great and we are so happy and excited for you.

Good to see the girls enjoy shopping as much as their mom!  Tell Eliana to keep up the good work.

Doug, I love the videos!  I couldn’t help but hear the alarm sound in the background.  If that was going on here I would say it was a Tornado Warning.  Any idea what it was all about?
Looks like the two girls are going to bond very well.  She does realize that Eliana is her sister right?  I’m happy to see the comfort she gets from her big sister.
I just hope that Wendy can give that much comfort to her mei mei when we get to travel.
